Today was the November West Ashley Artisans and Crafters Fair at Citadel Mall. It’s always a lot of fun to see all of the talent and creativity our locals have! There were vendors with scenes in bottles, baked goods, bath and body products, candles, wreaths, toys, holiday items, jewelry and many more that I didn’t get a chance to see (I was solo manning my booth). I’m looking forward to the next fair – December 10th from 11am-4pm at Citadel Mall. Hope to see you there!

Hummingbird w/Flowers – done!
Here is how the Hummingbird with Flowers window turned out with the sapphire blue mica sky – photos outside in the sun. I will have this and other glass items at my booth at the West Ashley Artisans and Crafters Fair tomorrow (11/19) at the Citadel Mall.
Upcoming Holiday Events
This year I won’t be participating in the market at the convention center. Instead, I will be at two smaller events at Citadel Mall. Details: November 19th fair/Christmas tree lighting and December 10th Santa’s Workshop fair. Each fair is 11:00am-4:00pm near the food court at Citadel Mall. Please stop by! I will have some special holiday themed smaller decorations / Swarovski and bead jewelry in addition to my usual glass and resin items.
At the November 19th event there will be a lighting of the community Christmas tree with our elected officials at 6:00pm and Holiday music throughout the day by our High School and Middle School Choirs. Some vendors will stay open past 4pm for the day long festivities!
The December 10th fair theme is Santa’s Workshop.
West Ashley Artisans and Crafters Fair!
SAVE THE DATE!
May 14th from 11am – 4pm
I will have a small booth at the Citadel Mall for the WA Artisans and Crafters Fair. This will be my first experience with this event, which is on the 2nd Saturday of each month. If things go well, I plan on making this my main selling venue going forward. This is a free, indoor event, so come on over!
November Holiday Market!
I’ve signed up for the Charleston Holiday Market at the Convention Center again for this November. We’ll see what the world looks like by then!
Outdoor fun
I want to send a shout out to 3 Matadors for a fun, safe, small outdoor event. I must admit I was a bit anxious in the days leading up to the event, as I haven’t done any events since November 2019 due to COVID-19, but the size of the event and spacing of vendors was great and the steady stream of mask wearing visitors was not too crowded.
